Born on April 6, 1963 in Mannheim, Germany, Jochen Zeitz is the CEO of the Sport & Lifestyle division of PPR, the global luxury holding company founded in 1963 by French businessman François Pinault and run by his son François-Henri Pinault.

 

Jochen is also Executive Chairman of PUMA SE after serving 18 years as its Chairman and CEO (he was the youngest CEO in German history to head a public company at the age of 30).

 

In 2008 Jochen founded the Zeitz Foundation to promote sustainability in industry through conservation, community, culture and commerce. He has been a member of the board at Harley-Davidson since 2007 and leads its sustainability committee. In 2010 Zeitz co-wrote ‘Prayer, Profit and Principles: Monk and Manager in Dialogue’ with Anselm Grün, a Benedictine monk. He has won several awards.
