Combining successful private sector experience with deep insight into international politics, Marco Vicenzino is a leading geo-political expert on the events, issues and developments that drive world affairs.
Vicenzino has serviced a wide array of entities operating globally such as Shell, HSBC, Barclays Capital, Credit Agricole, Banco Itau and international organizations such as the World Bank, NATO, and the Organization of American States. Vicenzino continues to advise corporations seeking an increased global presence and has also served as political strategist and advisor for campaigns internationally.
As an attorney admitted to the New York Bar, Vicenzino focused on international business transactions and government relations and taught International Law at the School of International Studies at American University in Washington, DC. He also served as Deputy Executive Director for the Washington, DC office of the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS-US).
In the tech sector, Vicenzino was a founding member, general counsel and head of business development of MapNetwork, an international technology enterprise taken over by Nokia. Vicenzino also serves as senior advisor to Cybertising, a digital advertising firm and certified Google-partner which has ranked in the top one percentile of Google partners.
Vicenzino’s professional associations have included the Council on Foreign Relations, BMW Foundation, French-American Foundation, U.S.-Spain Council, Aspen Institute, US-Spain Council, German Marshall Fund and Atlantik-Bruke. His languages include Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
